Samuel F. Pratt letter : Buffalo, to Messrs. I. & J. Townsend, 1837 May 9.

Pratt writes that all three of his banks were served with injunctions from the chancellor; that he is hopeful that something will be done to restore confidence and regulate the exchange of the country, since it is very difficult to collect debts due him.
